Week 27+

This week in Peru, we have enjoyed seeing our friends again after the Easter break. In English, we have introduced our new topic of Persuasive Writing and explored how we use this every day all around us in the form of adverts. We discussed and practised using a range of vocabulary designed to both persuade and dissuade people. In Maths, we have revisited time to consolidate our understanding. We practised telling the time to 5 minutes past the hour and then looked at the 24-hour clock. We practised solving some real-word problems based around time.

We have also enjoyed beginning looking at our new topic of Potions in the afternoons. We have completed a range of activities and have begun reading our related text, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
