Our school is based in Woolton, Liverpool and caters for some 272 students ages 3-19. Abbot’s Lea School is a dynamic, inclusive environment where every child with special educational needs is supported to achieve their full potential. We are driven by a shared vision of excellence, innovation, and care, creating a nurturing space for our students to grow.
What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking an individual with:
– Strong leadership skills to help steer our strategic direction
– Project management experience to contribute to school development initiatives
– Financial expertise to ensure sound governance and support in budgeting and resource allocation
Your Role:
As a Co-Opted Governor, you will:
– Collaborate with our leadership team and fellow governors to shape the future of the school
– Provide strategic guidance and oversee key projects to maintain and enhance our Outstanding status
– Ensure robust financial governance and help us maximize resources to benefit our students
