The theme of this year’s World Book Day was “neurodiversity.” Students enjoyed exploring and celebrating different types of brains which either create fantastic literature of feature in it!

The following stories were explored:

EYFS – All are Welcome (celebrating diversity)

KS1/Bespoke – Thunderboots (character with Dyslexia)

LKS2 – Through the Eyes of Me (character with Autism)

KS2 – Leo and the Octopus (character with Aspergers)

KS3 – Any book by the author Dav Pilkey (Captain underpants, Dog Man) Author has ADHD and Dyslexia

KS4/5 – Any Percy Jackson book by the author Rick Riordan (The Lightening Thief) written for his son who has ADHD and Dyslexia
